Q. 10 years ago I was attuned to Reiki 1. Then life got in the way and I have not practiced Reiki. Now I want to continue with my Reiki journey and take Reiki 2 training. Do I need to get attuned again to Reiki 1?

A. How wonderful that you are continuing your journey with Reiki. Your Reiki 1 attunement lasts a lifetime and you do not need to get attuned again at that level. Many of my students in your situation take Reiki 1 again just to refresh the concepts, but it is not necessary.
